Getty asked six Australian and New Zealand creative teams to make a short film using our footage and one of six themes. This is what they came up with:
I wrote, produced and directed the video for King Content as part of their entry. We knew we had to take a comedic approach. Our idea – “Danger, as you don’t know it” – was inspired by the statistical truth that you are more likely to be killed by the mundane and lame than the obvious and scary.
With a strong movie voiceover, we really went to town with Getty Images footage, animating key scenes including an unlikely vending machine accident and a cow with rage issues causing mayhem on the highway.
